Staff Training Days – Protected Time (PTL)

Protected Time for Learning (PTL) is about improving patient care by providing a dedicated learning time for our team away from their busy day-to-day work. It facilitates continuous professional development ensuring that the practice team’s skills and knowledge are up to date.

PTL events take place ten times a year and are delivered in partnership with Herts and West Essex Integrated Care Board.

On our PTL days, we are closed from 1.30-5.30pm during which time NHS 111 cover our calls. For urgent medical attention or support for a medical emergency, please call 999.
